Coastal Traditions

Tyler Doin was the architect for this beautiful coastal traditional second home in the community of WaterSound. The living, dining, and kitchen areas feature oak beams on the ceilings, custom cabinetry from the owner’s cabinet resource in Brentwood, Tennessee, and a kitchen hood made of zinc. The walls are Venetian plaster. The home was designed and built with a large family in mind. Comfortable, durable fabrics are found in the girls’ and boys’ bunk rooms for the grandchildren. Soft, comfortable textures grace the guest rooms for the adult children and a retreat created for the owner’s sister. Original pieces by Northwest Florida local artists Justin Gaffrey and Connie Chapman adorn the walls.
